We would like to thank Wehr Constructors for giving us the responsibility of installing micropiles for the Archdiocese of Louisville and Holy Family. Haire was hired to value engineer a deep foundation solution for a new elevator shaft at the school. The soils below consisted of layers of fill that could not withstand the load. They transferred the weight of the new foundation to bedrock using 24 micropiles 60’ in depth. The piles were socketed into bedrock 8 ft. Micropiles where completed on time and in budget.
